Several hundred students are hired to work within the department of University Auxiliary Services every year. If you want to be given the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and be a part of a wonderful cohort of individuals willing to train and develop you, then you are in the right place. Below are the areas within our department that employ student workers.

University Auxiliary Services Business Office
Submit resumé and contact information to uas@lsu.edu. UAS student workers are responsible for data entry used in reconciliations. Students maintain a database of work order bills, enter payments and expenses, and create and maintain the department filing system.

LSU Dining
Visit www.lsudining.com to submit your student worker application online. LSU Dining offers free meals and flexible schedules. Enjoy working at retail, residential, or concessions locations.

LSU Bookstore
Visit the LSU Bookstore in the Student Union to fill out an application. The majority of hiring takes place during the beginning and end of the semesters as those are the most needed times for student workers.

LSU Tiger Card Office
Submit resumé and contact information to tigercard@lsu.edu. The Tiger Card Office is the face of University Auxiliary Services. Students hired are energetic and willing to help with any of your Tiger Card needs. Responsibilities include managing the customer service aspect of the office, data entry, cashier reporting, and answering any inquiries about the Tiger Card.
