Handshake

Handshake at LSU is supported by a generous gift from Chevron.

 Handshake is LSU’s tool for faculty and staff to learn about jobs, interviews, and career event opportunities for the students they serve. Handshake also delivers new opportunities for streamlining administration of internship experiences and on-campus job postings. Faculty and staff can look forward to an increase in employer and student engagement thanks to the modern design and personalized interface. Handshake also allows faculty and staff to better track student career activity and outcomes, leveraging data to demonstrate results. Faculty/Staff Account Access

Faculty/Staff can have a Student account OR Employer account:

  • Student Account: For LSU faculty/staff who intend to view job postings, career events, and on-campus interview opportunities for advising students. To request an account, select Student/Alumni, and email Blake Winchell to let him know you have submitted this request for approval at bwinch1@lsu.edu.
  • Employer Account: For LSU faculty/staff who intend to post employment opportunities on behalf of their LSU department. To request an account, email Amy Caillouet at amyc@lsu.edu.

Once you have created your account using one of the two steps above, login to your account.
