Lillie S. & Alvin C. Harper Endowed Scholarship

The School of Nutrition and Food Sciences at Louisiana State University announces the Lillie S. & Alvin C. Harper Endowed Scholarship and will be considering candidates for the upcoming Academic year beginning with the Fall Semester. The scholarship will be awarded to the deserving recipient who has demonstrated both excellent academic performance and strong contributions to the School of Nutrition and Food Sciences

Eligibility
A current graduate student of the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences in the Nutrition area
Full-time student status during the whole scholarship year
Academic performance (must have a minimum GPA of 3.5)
Preferred Criteria for Consideration:
Financial need
Preference given to northern Louisianan
Professional accomplishment and awards
Contribution to the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences
Participation in the annual American Society for Nutrition and/or other related meetings

Larry and Barbara Chachere Endowed Scholarship

The School of Nutrition and Food Sciences at Louisiana State University announces the Larry and Barbara Chachere Endowed Scholarship and will be considering candidates for the upcoming Academic year beginning with the Fall Semester. The scholarship will be awarded to the deserving recipient who has demonstrated both excellent academic performance and strong contributions to the School of Nutrition and Food Sciences.

Eligibility
A current graduate student of the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences in the Nutrition area
Full-time student status during the whole scholarship year
Academic performance (must have a minimum GPA of 3.0)

Preference given to native Louisianan
Professional accomplishment and awards
Contribution to the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences

The School of Nutrition and Food Sciences at Louisiana State University announces the Barkate Scholarship and will be considering candidates for the upcoming Academic year beginning with the Fall Semester. The scholarship will be awarded to the deserving recipient who has demonstrated both excellent academic performance and strong contributions to the School of Nutrition and Food Sciences.

A current graduate student of the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences in the Nutrition area
Full-time student status during the whole scholarship year
Academic performance (must have a minimum GPA of 3.0)
Preferred Criteria for Consideration:
Financial need may be a consideration
Preference given to married student
Professional accomplishment and awards
Contribution to the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences
Participation at the Annual IFT and/or other meetings, LA Gulf Coast IFT Section meetings, and other regional IFT division meetings
Previous Barkate Scholarship award winners are not eligible

The Grodner Scholarship

The School of Nutrition and Food Sciences at Louisiana State University announces the Grodner Scholarship and will be considering candidates for the upcoming Academic year beginning with the Fall Semester. The scholarship will be awarded to the deserving recipient who has demonstrated both excellent academic performance and strong contributions to the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences.

Eligibility
A current graduate student of the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences in the Nutrition area
Full-time student status during the whole scholarship year
Academic performance (must have a minimum GPA of 3.0)
Preferred Criteria for Consideration:
Preference given to LA resident and US citizen
Preference given to research area of seafood processing & technology
Professional accomplishment and awards
Contribution to the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences
Participation at the Annual IFT and/or other meetings, LA Gulf Coast IFT Section meetings, and other regional IFT division meetings
Previous Barkate or Grodner Scholarship award winners are not eligible

The School of Nutrition and Food Sciences at Louisiana State University announces the Joseph A. Liuzzo Scholarship and will be considering candidates for the upcoming Academic year beginning with the Fall Semester. The scholarship will be awarded to the deserving recipient who has demonstrated both excellent academic performance and strong contributions to the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences.

Preference given to student in cereal chemistry area
Professional accomplishment and awards
Contribution to the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences
Participation at the Annual IFT and/or other meetings, LA Gulf Coast IFT Section meetings, and other regional IFT division meetings
Previous Barkate or Grodner Scholarship award winners are not eligible
