Rhoads and Squires Scholarship
The School of Nutrition and Food Sciences at Louisiana State University announces the Rhoads and Squires Scholarship and will be considering candidates for the upcoming Academic year beginning with the Fall Semester. The scholarship will be awarded to the deserving recipient who has demonstrated both excellent academic performance AND outstanding interest and involvement in nutrition-related activities.
- Eligibility
- A current undergraduate student in her/his sophomore, junior or senior year and enrolled in the dietetics or nutrition area during the Fall and Spring Semesters of the upcoming Academic year.
- A full-time student status during the scholarship year
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 (overall LSU coursework)
- Criteria for Consideration
- Activity in the Dietetics Club
- Activity in the School of Nutrition and Food Sciences
- Must demonstrate interest in nutrition
- Additional nutrition related activities (internships/jobs, volunteerism, etc.)
Dorothy Chambers LeBlanc Endowed Scholarship
The School of Nutrition and Food Sciences at Louisiana State University announces the Dorothy Chambers LeBlanc Endowed Scholarship and will be considering candidates for the upcoming Academic year beginning with the Fall Semester. The scholarship will be awarded to the deserving recipient who has demonstrated both excellent academic performance AND outstanding interest and involvement in nutrition-related activities

- A current undergraduate student in her/his sophomore, junior or senior year and enrolled in the dietetics or nutrition area during the Fall and Spring Semesters of the upcoming Academic year.
- A current undergraduate student enrolled in the dietetics or nutrition area during the Fall and Spring Semesters of the upcoming Academic year.
- A full-time student status during the scholarship year

Leona Johns Littlefield Scholarship
The School of Nutrition and Food Sciences at Louisiana State University announces the Leona Johns Littlefield Scholarship and will be considering candidates for the upcoming Academic year beginning with the Fall Semester. The scholarship will be awarded to the deserving recipient who has demonstrated both excellent academic performance AND outstanding interest and involvement in nutrition-related activities.

Ruth M. Patrick and Mrs. Dorothy Scott Endowed Scholarship

The scholarships will be awarded to the deserving recipients who have demonstrated both excellent academic performance AND outstanding interest and involvement in food science-related activities.
- Eligibility
- Must be a full time undergraduate student enrolled in the Food Science and Technology area during the Fall and Spring Semesters of the upcoming Academic year.
- Must have achieved at least Junior status by the Fall Semester
- Priority is given to those who graduated from a Louisiana High School
- Previous award winners of specific scholarships may not be eligible

- A preferred minimum GPA of 3.0 (overall LSU coursework or overall food science major coursework)

McIlhenny Company Louisiana Food Industry Scholarship
The School of Nutrition and Food Sciences at Louisiana State University announces the McIlhenny Company Louisiana Food Industry Endowed Scholarship and will be considering candidates for the upcoming Academic year beginning with the Fall Semester. The scholarships will be awarded to the deserving recipients who have demonstrated both excellent academic performance AND outstanding interest and involvement in food science-related activities.
- Eligibility
- Must be a full time undergraduate student enrolled in the Food Science and Technology area during the Fall and Spring Semesters of the upcoming Academic year.

Allen Canning Scholarship
The School of Nutrition and Food Sciences at Louisiana State University announces the Allen Canning Scholarship award and will be considering candidates for the upcoming Academic year beginning with the Fall Semester. The scholarship will be awarded to the deserving recipient who has demonstrated both excellent academic performance AND strong interest in food science-related activities.
- Eligibility
- Must be a full time undergraduate enrolled in the Food Science & Technology area during the Fall and Spring Semesters of the upcoming Academic year.
- A full-time student status during the scholarship year
- Criteria for Consideration
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 (overall high school coursework)
- Extra-curricular activities, with emphasis given to those that are related to food science (i.e. internships/jobs, volunteerism, etc.)
- Interest in food science
- Previous Allen Canning award winners may not be eligible
- Preference will be given to freshmen and sophomores.

The A.M. Mullins Scholarship
The School of Nutrition and Food Sciences at Louisiana State University announces the A.M. Mullins Scholarship and will be considering candidates for the upcoming Academic year beginning with the Fall Semester. The scholarship will be awarded to the deserving recipient who has demonstrated both excellent academic performance AND outstanding interest and involvement in food science-related activities.

- A current undergraduate student enrolled in the Food Science & Technology area during the Fall and Spring Semesters of the upcoming Academic year.

- A minimum GPA of 3.25 (overall LSU coursework)

The Baton Rouge Epicurean Society Scholarship
The School of Nutrition and Food Sciences at Louisiana State University announces the Baton Rouge Epicurean Society Scholarship and will be considering candidates for the upcoming Academic year beginning with the Fall Semester. The scholarship will be awarded to the deserving recipient who has demonstrated both excellent academic performance and strong contributions to the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences.
- Eligibility
- A current student of the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences in the Food Science area
- Full-time student status during the whole scholarship year
- Academic performance (must have a minimum GPA of 2.5)
- Preferred Criteria for Consideration
- Preference given to student from Greater Baton Rouge area including the following parish: Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana
- Preference given to culinary arts interest
- Preference given to interest in developing healthy food
- Financial need may be a consideration
- Professional accomplishment and awards
- Contribution to the LSU School of Nutrition and Food Sciences
- Participation at the Annual IFT and/or other meetings, LA Gulf Coast IFT Section meetings, and other regional IFT division meetings
