Human Protocols: Frequently Asked Questions
All protocols previously submitted to the IRB were transferred to GeauxGrants. You do not need to complete a new application for your current protocol.
On the landing page for Human Protocol, click Locate My Records to see all of your submissions.
Yes. When on the landing page for Human Protocol, click Locate My Records to see all of your submissions. Click the hyperlink of the protocol you wish to modify or continue followed by Create New. You can choose to modify, continue, or submit an adverse event.
Yes, but only for those protocols originally created in GeauxGrants. On the Human Protocol page, click Copy from Existing. You can type the IRB number or browse your submissions. Once the protocol is selected, the information will copy to a new application with a new IRB number.
Yes. Graduate students with an assistantship will be able to access GeauxGrants. If the graduate student does not have an assistantship, information will be needed to gain access to GeauxGrants. Contact the IRB administrator at email@example.com for additional information.
No. Undergraduate students will not have access to GeauxGrants. Their supervising professor will need to submit the application as the principal investigator.
No. Graduate and undergraduate students can no longer be the principal investigator for exempt or regular applications.
