Extensive reference materials, available to students at all levels, include audiotapes and transcripts of Cajun French and Cajun English, audio and video tapes of different varieties of U.S. Spanish collected from adolescents and adults, a transcript database from children speaking rural Louisiana dialects, audiotapes of fluent aphasic speech, and written Louisiana dialectic materials in library Special Collections. These resources combine with our phonetic, acoustic, and psychological laboratories to provide readily available data for researchers.
