OUTlaw was formed to create a climate at the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in which it is safe and comfortable to be openly lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or an ally (“LGBT”). OUTlaw seeks to create an atmosphere of acceptance and comfort, instill justice, and combat discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. The organization exists to provide support and a sense of community while simultaneously engaging in political activism and advocacy.

Qroma is an organization which seeks to support the campus' lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer students of color through service, programming, and social outreach. This student organization hopes to address the struggles that are paired with being queer students of color on LSU's campus. In having representation and a presence on campus, our goal is to tackle ongoing issues, create a safe environment, spark conversations, provide social outlets, STD/HIV-AIDS testing, and suicide and drug prevention.
